Santa Catarina exported 437.4 thousand tons of pork between January and July 2026, generating US$ 1.09 billion in revenue. Compared to the same period in 2025, there was a 0.9% increase in volume and a 2.6% rise in revenue. These results mark the best performance in the historical series for the first seven months of the year, in terms of both quantity and revenue.

Japan was the primary destination for pork from Santa Catarina, accounting for 33.8% of revenue during the period. Japanese purchases grew by 71.3% in volume and 66.2% in revenue year-over-year. Other notable markets included South Korea, with increases of 34.1% in volume and 35.7% in revenue, and Georgia, which expanded its purchases by 186.1% in volume and 174.4% in revenue.
Conversely, some key markets recorded a decline in purchases; the Philippines, China, and Chile all saw drops in both volume and revenue.

For the period from January to July, Santa Catarina accounted for 48.5% of the volume and 51.3% of the revenue from Brazilian pork exports, maintaining a leading position in the foreign trade of this product.
