Pork production totaled 505,470 metric tons (t) in the first quarter of 2026, representing a 15.3% increase compared to the same period the previous year.
Specifically for March, production reached 184,785 t, up 25.5% from the same month the previous year and 20.6% above the volume recorded in February.

With these results, the pork sector emerged as the most dynamic in terms of production for the quarter, posting higher growth than that observed for poultry (5.4%) and beef (3.4%).
