Agrisys presents expanding portfolio at EuroTier 2026

New developments in electronic sow feeding and Pig Performance Testing join technologies for individual feeding, welfare and production insight as Agrisys presents its complete pig production portfolio at EuroTier 2026.

Pig production is already connected. Feed intake affects animal performance. Feeding and water intake influence the lactating sow and her litter. Performance data can reveal differences between animals. Welfare routines affect both animals and labour. And information from one stage of production can become valuable in the next.

These relationships between different parts of production are reflected in The Connected Farm, the Agrisys perspective on how feeding, performance, welfare and production insight relate in modern pig production.

FREEDA portfolio continues to develop

EuroTier will also provide a closer look at the continued development of the FREEDA portfolio. Since 2023, Agrisys has continued the global activities of the former Nedap Pig Division under the FREEDA brand. The established pig feeding and management solutions remain at the core of the portfolio, supported through an international dealer network.

At EuroTier 2026, Walk In ESF and an expanded Pig Performance Testing portfolio provide two examples of how the FREEDA range continues to develop.

Walk In ESF expands the electronic sow feeding portfolio with a straightforward option for individual feeding of group-housed sows during gestation. Each sow is identified automatically and fed according to her individual feed curve, while feeding activity is recorded in the system. The station can be incorporated into different barn layouts and used in both new and existing facilities.

The expanded Pig Performance Testing range consists of Core, Precision and Premium PPT, providing different levels of individual performance measurement for breeders, feed companies and research facilities.

Core PPT identifies the individual pig and records the amount of feed provided. Precision PPT continuously weighs the trough to measure what the individual pig actually consumes during each visit and records eating time.

Premium PPT adds automatic body-weight recording, allowing feed consumption and growth to be connected and individual feed conversion to be calculated.

Individual feeding in the farrowing pen

Another EuroTier highlight is Location Feeding, which brings individual feeding directly to sows housed in individual pens.

Each pen is registered as a location in AICO®, and feed is automatically dosed according to the feed curve of the sow occupying it. In the farrowing unit, the daily ration can be divided into several smaller, fresh portions as the sow’s needs change throughout lactation.

An optional water function supplies water directly at the trough, while the optional Activator allows the sow to request additional small portions herself within the amount available to her. Feeding activity remains visible to the producer, while automatic dosing reduces the need for manual feeder adjustment in individual farrowing pens.

Automating the provision of rooting and bedding material

With AirSys Welfare, Agrisys applies pneumatic distribution technology to another everyday production task: providing pigs with fresh rooting and bedding material.

Material is transported from a central hopper through pipes to outlets in the barn. The system can distribute several smaller portions at planned intervals throughout the day, renewing the availability of fresh material without making its regular distribution another manual routine. Distribution can be adapted by pen, with empty pens excluded, and the principle can be applied across different pig groups and barn layouts.

From individual systems to production insight

Connecting technology also creates the need to make information manageable. AICO® – Agrisys Intelligent Control – is the common control platform developed for Agrisys and FREEDA solutions. From one familiar environment, producers can control feeding, follow animals and systems, respond to alarms and access relevant production information. AICO is being expanded across the Agrisys and FREEDA portfolios, creating the foundation for solutions to increasingly share relevant information. API connections can also exchange relevant information with external farm management systems, while online connectivity enables remote access, synchronisation and backup. The objective is not simply to create more data. It is to make relevant information available where it can support everyday production routines and decisions
