United kingdom - Imports of British poultry and pork are likely to resume as early as mid-February, Korean officials said Monday

An outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in August 2007 drove the Korean government to ban all pork products from the United Kingdom. According to the Agriculture Ministry, the British government had requested for a resumption of its meat imports, following its classification as a "clean" nation by the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE).
