According to the National Council of Balanced Feed Manufacturers and Animal Nutrition, CONAFAB (Consejo Nacional de Fabricantes de Alimentos Balanceados y de la Industria Animal), the 400 compound fodder factories in Mexico produced 26,200 tonnes of the products in 2008, which is equivalent to a 1.9% growth on the previous year’s production.
