The feeder guarantees immediate access to water during the first days after weaning, allowing the pig to eat dry feed from the upper shelf or mix it with water, reducing the need for additional drinkers in the pens and allowing for easy and natural consumption. Daily gain is increased and both feed and water waste are decreased (+/- 4%).
