Pork prices are under pressure
Prices in the pork market are being pressured by higher production in the key exporting countries.
Producers are losing money, and that will eventually have consequences for their willingness to produce.
The question is where we are in the larger hog cycle:
Are we still in phase 3 — oversupply — or are we moving into phase 4, where low prices begin to reduce production?
