According to the data published by the Ministry of Agriculture of Denmark, the last statements of the Chinese authorities regarding the evolution of the swine population in China still show a pronounced decrease in comparison with 2014.

The Chinese swine census amounted 387.12 million heads, and this implies a a decrease by 9.4% in comparison with 2014. The breeders' census amounted 39.74 million heads: a decrease by 14.9%.
