Jordi Pous

Jordi Pous has studies in biotechnology, environmental microbiology, and health. He has experience in different fields related to health, environment, and the agri-food sector as a researcher, scientific communicator, and environmental consultant. One of the research projects he has been involved with was on the evolution of antibiotic resistance in fields fertilized with sewage sludge. Before joining BETA, he worked as a technical consultant in an agro-livestock cooperative. This experience in different sectors gives him a transversal vision of the industry. He has a special interest in finding and promoting solutions based on nature and circular economy for environmental problems; always taking into account economic and social aspects.
