WelFarmers: Second round of Good Practices collection

The WelFarmers Project is a collaborative initiative aimed at improving the welfare of pigs within the European Union. Funded by the Horizon Europe Program, WelFarmers is setting up eight national innovation networks from eight different countries and putting together pig farmers, advisors, veterinarians, and researchers to address the challenges of the upcoming change in the European pig welfare legislation.

In this VideoCast we present the results of the second round of Good Practices collection: 12 pig welfare practices from farms across Europe, grouped into four topics. For each one, you will see what the farm did, what changed and whether it could work on your farm.
