CE extends CAP fund application deadline due to COVID-19

The European Commission announced that the deadline for submitting applications for aid under the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) has been extended to June 15.

The deadline was set for April 30, but the EC has decided, as a result of the restriction on the movement of people to extend it until June 15 so that no farmer will have difficulty in submitting his single application for the 2020 CAP, in light of the recent state of emergency declared to manage the COVID-19 health crisis.
