In three years since Porcilis Ileitis was first launched in Brazil in 2018, 30 million pigs have already been intramuscularly vaccinated against Lawsonia intracellularis. Currently, 40% of the 49 million pigs produced per year in this country (according to ABPA) recieve this vaccine.

Our Latam customers have reported excellent productivity and return on investment with this solution. Vaccination is therefore showing to be the more effective and economical method in the control of ileitis, in addition to helping to reduce the use of antimicrobials.
