The first two days of IPVS 2026 have exceeded all our expectations. We have welcomed hundreds of visitors to the IPVS & ESPHM 2028 Spain booth, shared our vision for Madrid 2028, generated valuable new connections, and even run out of all our merchandise!

Spain's bid to host IPVS & ESPHM 2028 is much more than a congress proposal. It is a shared ambition that brings together associations, institutions, universities and industry organizations from across the country around a common goal: welcoming the global pig community to Spain in 2028.

Organized by ANAPORC and with the support of INTERPORC as Main Partner, this candidacy is backed by a broad network of organizations committed to showcasing the strength, expertise and international leadership of the Spanish swine sector.

IPVS & ESPHM 2028 is planned to take place at IFEMA Madrid, one of Europe's leading congress and exhibition venues.

Big news are here! Spain officially submits its bid to host IPVS & ESPHM 2028 in Madrid.

40 years later, the world’s leading scientific and professional event for the swine sector could return to Spain. From June 20–23, 2028, Madrid aims to become the global meeting point for the swine community. A congress where science, production, sustainability and people come together once again.
