Finnish WelFarmers Winners Celebrated at the Annual Finnish Pig Producers’ Seminar

The achievements of Finnish pig farms in the international WelFarmers project were celebrated and the overall results of the project were presented at the Finnish Pig Producers’ Seminar, held in Ikaalinen on 2 October.

The annual event brought together nearly 200 pig producers and stakeholders from across the Finnish pig sector, providing an important forum for knowledge exchange and discussion on current issues in pig production.

During the seminar, awards were presented to all Finnish farms whose practices were selected among the best entries in the two rounds of the WelFarmers competition.

Finnish participants achieved remarkable success, with several practices reaching the international Top 20 lists and four Finnish practices ultimately being recognised as category winners.
