Currently serving as Head of Business Development at the South African Pork Producers Organisation, she leads national initiatives focused on enterprise development, farmer support, and sustainable value chain integration. Kgadi has played a pivotal role in designing and implementing large-scale development programs supporting more than 250 emerging and smallholder farmers across the country. Her work bridges industry, government, and financial institutions to unlock funding, strengthen production systems, and improve market access. She has also led biosecurity collaboration efforts across stakeholders, contributing to more coordinated and effective disease management within the livestock sector.
With a strong foundation in agricultural economics and production, Kgadi combines practical on-farm experience with strategic program design. She has overseen multi-million-rand development budgets, built high-performing teams, and established monitoring and evaluation systems to track impact at scale. Her leadership extends to training and capacity building through the SAPPO Academy, where she has facilitated programs in partnership with institutions such as Stellenbosch Business School. Kgadi holds an MBA from the University of South Africa and serves in multiple governance and advisory roles, including as a member of the Accounting Authority of AgriSETA and the Human Resource Development Council. She is widely recognized for her people-centered approach, systems thinking, and commitment to sustainable rural development.
