Low battery indicator: The included batteries provide 1400 hours of continuous use. When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will flash. to indicate that the battery is low. If the low battery charge could affect your results, the meter will turn off to avoid erroneous readings.

The HI99181 skin pH meter features a replaceable HI14143/50 probe that has been carefully designed specifically for measuring skin and scalp pH.
Glass body probe: A glass body is easy to clean, chemically resistant, and reaches thermal equilibrium quickly for faster and more stable measurements.
Flat tip: The flat tip requires minimal immersion in the sample, allowing measurements on small volume or semi-solid samples. The flat-tipped bulb is easy to clean, reducing the need for cleaning and maintenance.
