The HI98191 meter is supplied with a HI72911B titanium pH electrode, temperature probe, HI7004M pH 4.01 calibration solution, HI7007M pH 7.01 calibration solution, HI700601 electrode cleaning solution (2 sachets), two 100ml plastic beakers, four 1.5V batteries, HI92000 software, HI920015 micro USB cable, quality certificate, HI720191 carrying case, and instructions.
For the For pH measurement, the HI98191 meter comes with an HI72911B titanium-bodied pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature-compensated readings. The titanium body is chemically resistant to harsh chemicals and is virtually unbreakable. Hanna's unique CAL Check™ feature alerts the user to potential problems during the pH calibration process. By comparing calibration data with the current calibration, the meter will alert the user with on-screen prompts when the probe is dirty or broken, and the pH calibration solution may be contaminated. After calibration, the overall probe status is displayed as a percentage from 0 to 100% in 10% increments. The probe status is affected by the pH electrode's offset and slope characteristics and is shown on the calibration day measurement screen and in the GLP data. pH calibration can be performed at up to five points with seven pre-programmed standard pH buffers and five custom buffers to achieve a pH accuracy of 0.002 with a pH resolution of 0.001. The HI98191 pH/ORP/ISE meter has 15 different ISE sensors pre-programmed within the meter. Selecting the appropriate ISE from the ISE menu will apply it. The ionic charge and molar weight of the dimensions are suitable for displaying the ISE percentage slope. Users can calibrate up to five points with the option of six standard values. This meter allows a wide selection of units of measurement (ppm, ppt, g/L, ppb, µg/L, mg/mL, M, mol/L, mmol/L, % w/v, user-defined) and has a measurement expansion of 1.00 x 10⁻⁷ to 9.99 x 10¹⁰. By pressing the virtual "AutoHold" key, which is visible in measurement mode, the meter allows for a stable reading, enabling documentation or recording of the reading. An "out of calibration range" warning can be enabled. which alerts the user when a reading falls within the calibrated pH value range.
Logging mode allows recording and saving up to 300 samples (100 each for pH, mV, and ISE). This data, along with associated GLP data, can be transferred to a PC using Hanna's HI920015 micro USB cable and HI92000 software.
