The use of the chainmail glove is limited to protection against cuts and blows caused by the use of a traditional or electric knife with a circular or vertical blade.
It is not used with a cutting blade with notches greater than 1 mm.
The glove is cleaned vigorously by brushing it with water at 50°C and rinsing with water at 82°C. It is disinfected with a non-acidic product authorized by food hygiene services.
