The HI2040-02 is supplied with a dissolved oxygen probe, electrolyte solution (30 mL), membrane caps (2), O-rings, electrode holder, wall mount, USB cable, power adapter, quality certificate, and instruction manual.
The Edge is a slim and lightweight meter, only 1.25 cm thick and weighing less than 250 g. It features a large 5.5" LCD screen.

The edge measures pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen using digital electrodes.
It features automatic electrode recognition, displaying the sensor type, calibration, and serial number. Electrodes connect easily to the edge via a 3.5mm plug-in connector.
The edge's design allows it to be held in your hand, placed on a lab bench, or mounted on a wall.
Furthermore, it simplifies measurements, configuration, calibration, diagnostics, data logging, and transfer to a computer or USB flash drive.
One of the edge's features is the exclusive CAL CHECK® system.
The system warns if the electrode used is not clean or if the solutions have been contaminated during calibration. In the case of sensors with a matching pin, CAL-CHECK also warns if the electrode membrane is broken or if the junction point is obstructed. This is the culmination of HANNA's vision, its design capabilities, production integration, and cutting-edge R&D team.
The electrodes have also advanced at the edge: they incorporate an internal microchip that stores the sensor type, identification number, and calibration information, which is automatically transferred to the edge once the electrode is connected.
The pH calibration information includes: calibration solutions, date, time, zero point, and electrode slope.
For conductivity, it includes: calibration solutions, date, time, and sensor cell constant.
Dissolved oxygen includes: standards used in calibration, date, time, and altitude and salinity corrections. These digital electrodes also include an easy-to-use 3.5 mm connector so you never have to worry about pins or the correct entry angle.
GLP
The last calibration data is stored in the sensor: electrode zero point, slope, date, time, and solutions/standards. When any of the sensors (pH, EC, or DO) is connected to the edge, the GLP data is automatically transferred.
CAL-CHECK
(HI2002-02 Only)
The edge includes the unique CAL-CHECK system, which alerts you if the electrode membrane is clean or if the solutions have been contaminated during calibration.
Touchscreen Keyboard
The edge features a touchscreen keyboard that gives it a modern look. Because the keyboard is part of the screen, the buttons will never be blocked by sample residue. The up and down buttons move quickly when held down (ideal for viewing a large number of records).
All Data at a Glance
Full text is displayed at the bottom of the screen. There's no need to decipher abbreviations or symbols.
These messages will guide you through any process quickly and easily.
Data Logging
The Edge allows you to save up to 1000 data logs. The log includes readings and the date and time of the last calibration.
2 USB Ports
It includes one standard USB port for exporting to a USB flash drive and also includes a mini USB port for connecting directly to a computer to export the file or to charge the Edge's battery if it is not fully charged.
