A new wave of agricultural empowerment is set to begin in Kwara State as Are Olushola Farm Enterprise partners with the Federal Government to train youth in livestock farming.
The initiative, launched under the Federal Ministry of Education’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme, will run for six months and equip participants with practical skills in Livestock Management at no cost.

The project aims to transform young Nigerians into skilled agripreneurs capable of supporting food security and job creation. However, each participant will receive monthly stipends and start-up support to help them progress from trainees to business owners.
This programme is focused on empowering youth with the tools and confidence to build sustainable livelihoods.
The Farm management commended the Federal Government for expanding the TVET scheme to bridge the gap between education and employment, adding that the collaboration reflects growing recognition of agriculture’s potential to address unemployment.
Through partnerships with private training centres such as Are Olushola Farm, the government hopes to extend the impact of TVET beyond the classroom and ensure agriculture becomes a strong pillar of youth empowerment and national development.
