A historic leap for Liberia’s Swine Industry!
The Pig Value Chain Actors (PVCA) of Liberia, in partnership with 333Africa, have successfully organised the nation’s first ever Swine Mentorship Program, a landmark event that brought together over 515 swine producers, farmers, and stakeholders from all sixteen counties.
Held at the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Ministerial Complex, Monrovia, the event themed “Enactment of Best Management Practices for Sustainable Pig Production” provided a vital platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation in modern pig farming.
Participants benefited from technical presentations by experts from Axiom Genetics, Pig Improvement Company (PIC) Africa, and 333Africa, focusing on genetics, breeding, and sustainable swine management.
The PVCA extends her appreciation to all partners and sponsors for their commitment to advancing the swine value chain in Liberia and across Africa. Special thanks go to our National Coordinator, Mr Jerry Sirtor, whose dedication made this milestone possible.
Together, we are building a stronger, smarter, and more sustainable swine industry for Liberia. 🌍🐷
