Welcome to the Team, Carl Krause! 🎉

We’re thrilled to welcome our new colleague, Carl Krause, to the DanBred Africa team!

Carl joins us as part of our Technical Services department, bringing fresh energy, curiosity, and a strong passion for animal production. His journey into agriculture began back in high school after visiting several farms - an experience that sparked a lifelong interest in livestock and farming. 🌾

Originally from Johannesburg, Carl went on to complete his BScAgric in Animal Science at the University of Pretoria (Tuks), where he built a solid foundation in livestock production, nutrition, and farm management.

Before joining DanBred, Carl gained valuable experience in the poultry industry, working as a Technical Advisor. In this role, he supported farmers in improving flock performance through practical, data-driven recommendations. 🐔 Now, he’s ready to trade feathers for genetics - bringing the same dedication, analytical mindset, and farmer-first approach to the pig industry. 🐖

Outside of work, Carl enjoys spending time outdoors, hunting, and relaxing with friends and family.
