PIC South Africa hit the ground running in Zimbabwe with a very successful Farmers Day on the 9th of July 2025, focused around providing technical information and resources to the farmers while creating awareness of our world-renowned brand. The team presented on general piggery management, artificial insemination technique, farrowing assistance and providing tips and tricks valuable to not only the upcoming farmer but even the farmer with many years of experience.
We also had the honour of having Dr. Sharai Ncube speak on behalf of the Pig Industry Board of Zimbabwe, and Dr. Reneth Mano on behalf of the Pig Producers’ Association of Zimbabwe and the Livestock and Meat Advisory Council, who shared a bit about their organisations’ roles in the industry as well as some valuable insights on the industry itself. The feedback from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive, and we are proud to have had a positive impact on the pig industry of Zimbabwe.
