A delegation of vaccine regulators and directors of livestock vaccine production from 25 African countries has given high accolades to Hester Biosciences Africa Limited, a state-of-the-art livestock vaccine factory in Kibaha, Tanzania.
This recognition came during the delegation’s visit to the facility as part of the African Union’s Pan-African Veterinary regional meeting held in Dar es Salaam from June 16th to 20th.

The delegation toured the facility to further strengthen local manufacturing capacity and enhance regional cooperation in animal health and disease control.
The visit also drew strong recognition from the African Union's Pan-African Veterinary Vaccine Centre and is regarded as a strategic move with the potential to transform the livestock sector, not only in Tanzania but across the continent.
Established in 2021, the Hester factory has distributed vaccines to countries including Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Botswana, Burundi, Eritrea, Ghana, Mongolia, Nepal, and Israel, demonstrating its regional and global reach.
