04-Déc-2003 (il y a 22 ans 3 mois 28 jours)Sur le tableau ci-après, on trouvera les données sur la production, les importations et les exportations ainsi que la consommation de viande de porc pour l'Union Européenne, le Canada, le Mexique, les Etats-Unis, la Chine (sauf Hong Kong), le Brésil, la Russie et le Japon au cours des années 2000, 2001, 2002 (données provisoires) et les prévisions pour 2003.
On observera que l'Union Européenne est un des plus grands producteurs et le plus grand exportateur avec le Canada, les Etats-Unis et le Brésil, pays qui, au cours des dernières années, ont connu une augmentation considérable de leurs exportations en passant de 163.000 tonnes en 2000 à une prévision de 430.000 tonnes pour cette année 2003.
En revanche, des pays comme la Russie et le Japon dont les consommations sont clairement supérieures à leurs productions sont d'importants importateurs de viande de porc. Le Mexique et la Chine sont à un niveau intermédiaire.
