An international meeting focused on sustainable swine production and technical knowledge exchange across Africa
333 Africa will host the Swine Industry Technical Conference 2026 on 10th October 2026 in Abuja, Nigeria, under the theme: “Enaction of Best Management Practices for Sustainable Swine Production”
The conference will bring together swine producers, farm managers, veterinarians, researchers, technical advisors and industry stakeholders from across Africa and other regions of the world for a full day of technical sessions, networking and knowledge exchange focused on the future of pig production in Africa.
As part of 333 Africa’s commitment to strengthening the swine industry across the continent, the event aims to promote capacity building, technical development and the adoption of innovative and sustainable production practices adapted to the realities of African markets.
The conference is expected to welcome participants from more than 13 African countries, together with international speakers and experts from different regions of the global swine industry.
The technical program will focus on four key areas:
• Breeding and reproductive management
• Nutrition, feeding and gut health
• Housing and facilities management
• Herd health and biosecurity
The event will take place at the Main Auditorium of the National Universities Commission, Maitama, Abuja, starting at 8:00 AM. A pre-conference session will also be held on 9 October 2026 at the same venue.
