Korea: significant increase in FMD outbreaks

Korean Veterinary Authorities informed the OIE of the emergence of 41 new outbreaks of FMD in the country. The foci are located in the northern half of the country, as shown in the map below.

Since the resurgence of the disease in December last year, there are already 121 confirmed outbreaks, with a total of 107,061 cases in pigs and 107,065 in cattle.
