Brazil: Kátia Abreu, new Minister of Agriculture

Ms. Kátia Abreu is, since last Monday, 5 January, the new Minister of Agriculture of Brazil.

Ms. Abreu, senator of the PMDB for the state of Tocantins and president of the Brazilian Agriculture and Stockbreeding Confederation, took the oath of office before the president of the Republic, Ms. Dilma Rousseff, last 1 January.
