Poland confirms a new case of ASF in a wild boar

The veterinary authorities of Poland have confirmed the presence of a new case of African swine fever in a wild boar found dead at 1.5 km from the village of Wiejki and 6 km from the Polish-Belarusian border, in Podlaskie.

Samples were sent to the reference laboratory for ASF on 8 July, who confirmed the presence of genetic material of the ASF virus.
