Portugal: authorisation to export to Japan

After the meeting held between the representatives of the Ministries of Agriculture of Portugal and Japan, the latter will authorise the entrance of pig meat and processed products from Portugal.

The negotiations held with Japan could facilitate the possibility of the opening of the South Korean market (the next destiny of the Minister of Agriculture of Portugal) to Portuguese pig meat products.
