Russia - Situation in Animal Breeding Sector

The Minister explained that the growth was generally provided thanks to poultry and pork production sector output increase (16.5% and 8% respectively). Thereat he pointed out “there are problems in beef production sector, thus starting from the next year a special program on meat cattle development for which additional funds will be subsidized will be worked out”.
