According to Asian Agribiz, Thailand plans to resubmit its request to the World Animal Health Organisation, OIE, again in 2015 for it to approve the country’s livestock Zone 2 as an FMD-free zone.

Zone 2 covers seven provinces in the eastern region including Chachoengsao and Chonburi where many pig farms are located.
