United Kingdom: two-price DAPP proposed

According to NPA, a significant change in the way DAPP is reported has been proposed by a BPEX working group. In future there could be a three-prong DAPP: total sample, standard pig and non-standard pig. Effectively this will mean a Freedom Food DAPP and a Red Tractor DAPP.

In the past there has been some controversy over the way DAPP includes (in the words of one producer) "business class pigs and standard class pigs" to produce a figure that is not necessarily representative of either.
