European Union: criteria for evaluating studies on stunning methods

In line with EFSA’s policy on openness and transparency and in order for EFSA to receive comments from the scientific community and stakeholders, EFSA’s Panel on Animal Health and Welfare (AHAW) has launched an open consultation on the draft Guidance on the assessment criteria for studies evaluating the effectiveness of stunning interventions regarding animal protection at the time of killing.

Interested parties are invited to submit written comments by 08 September 2013.
