Russia: eight new outbreaks of African swine fever

Eight new outbreaks of African swine fever are registered in Voronezhskaya Oblast (6 outbreaks) and Rostovskaya Oblast (2 outbreaks), Dr Evgeny Nepoklonov, Deputy Head, Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, Ministry of Agriculture, has reported to the OIE.

There are a total of 1301 susceptible animals of which 148 are cases.
