Russia - Meat imports to grow by 14.2% up to 1.6 million tons in 2008

Fresh and frozen meat imports to Russia grew by 14.2% to 1.6 million tons in 2008 from 1.4 million tons in 2007, and up 43.4% to $4.9 billion from $3.4 billion in money terms, as Federal Customs Service reports.
