Bio-Energy-Expo in China

Held alongside the China Animal Husbandry Exhibition (CAHE) from 18 to 20 May 2011, Bio-Energy-Expo will see some 30 exhibiting companies from China and Europe presenting solutions to the growing Chinese market, where interest in European biogas technologies is increasing. Some 50,000 visitors, many from the energy sector, will be visiting the CAHE exhibition and Bio-Energy Expo.

The 30 companies, with exactly half from China and Europe, will showcase these technologies:
· Substrate preparation
· Fermentation
· Biogas purification
· Biogas feed-in
· Digestate use and management
· Power generation
· Combined heat and power
· Heating /cooling technology
· Ventilation
· Exhaust and emission control
· Safety technology, control and regulation technology
Bio-Energy Expo is an integrated event within the China Animal Husbandry Exhibition (CAHE), which attracts 850 exhibitors. Organizers of Bio-Energy-Expo are the China Animal Agriculture Association (CAAA) and DLG International, a subsidiary of the German Agricultural Society (DLG).

Trends in biogas production and use in China
The second International Bio-Energy Conference on 19 May 2011 has received over 200 registrants thus far, mostly from participants coming from China and Southeast Asia. To be held on 19 May as part of the expo, the conference “Industrialised biogas production” is organized by CAAA, DLG, and the China Biogas Society (CBS), with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Foreign Economical Cooperation Center (FECC)
Renowned experts from academia, consulting, industry, government and associations, including experts from Germany, will be presenting trends in biogas production and utilization in China.
