Boehringer Ingelheim has been awarded “Best Exhibitor” during VIV Asia 2011, an international trade fair for intensive animal production. The Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Thailand hosted the industry exhibition, held in March 2011. In total, more than 680 companies from nearly 50 different countries found their way to Bangkok – one of them was Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health. The Boehringer Ingelheim stand excelled, amongst others, in its effective projection of brand identity as well as in visual aspects of the booth and the professional presentation of staff, products and literature.

Visitors discussed with animal health experts, gathered the latest information in swine or poultry production, played different games such as “Bingo FLEX” or met the Rubik’s Cube World Champion. Because of this wide range of offerings, the Boehringer Ingelheim booth was acknowledged by the “Best Animal Health Exhibitor” award. The award is organized by Asian Agribusiness Publications for exceptional participation at the show and is presented in the following categories: livestock equipment, genetics, animal health and feed additives.

In its role as international platform on animal production and meat processing, VIV Asia showcased the industry's developments by the “Feed to Meat” concept. “Feed to Meat” brings together supply and demand within the complete animal protein chain. The driver behind the chain concept is that animal feed and animal health are vital for meat quality and safety. The 2011 edition of the VIV Asia represented every step in the meat production process. Boehringer Ingelheim is the global market leader for swine vaccines and also constantly growing in the poultry vaccine business and therefore one of the key animal health exhibitors.
