North Korea – More outbreaks of foot and mouth disease

19-Apr-2011 (15 years 1 months 20 days ago)On 18 April 2011, the North Korean veterinary authorities informed the OIE about the confirmation of 4 new outbreaks of FMD.
The outbreaks are located in Myongri, Sangwon and Hwangju districts (Hwanghae-Bukto) and Kumgang county (Kangwon-Do).
A total of 22 cases n cattle and 270 in swine were reported.
