European Union - Total mount of pork in the private storage scheme

14-Mar-2011 (15 years 2 months 26 days ago)The full returns of the aid for private storage scheme that closed at the end of last month were made available today. The total mount of pork in the scheme is 131,752 tonnes at a maximum cost to the EU of € 58 m.
Germany (28.6%), Spain (19.2%), Denmark (11.8%), the Netherlands (10%), Poland (6.3%) and France (5%) were the main contributors. The UK contributed 1% (1,486 tonnes) to the scheme.
