08-Feb-2011 (15 years 4 months ago)According to the Territorial Administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Kaliningrad Oblast, test performed in the Kaliningrad interregional veterinary laboratory in the framework of the ASF monitoring of samples taken on February 2, 2011 from boars shot in hunting entities of the Pravdinsk district of the Kaliningrad Oblast and from a domestic pig shot during backyard slaughter in the settlement Kostyukovka of the Pravdinsk district of the Kaliningrad Oblast gave positive results on February 6, 2011.
In order to confirm the diagnosis the samples were sent to SSI ARRIVV&M of the Rosselkhozacademy on February 6, 2011.
As of February 7, 2011, one piglet has been found dead in a private backyard.
