Meat is one of the goods markets with the lowest MPI ranking and scores relatively poorly for consumer trust. It is also a highly regulated frequently purchased product that makes up a considerable share of consumption expenditure.
Among goods, only second-hand cars and clothes inspired less confidence, the EU’s 2010 Consumer Market Scoreboard has shown.
