Key points:
• In August 2010 the total GB retail production of animal feed was up 10.9% compared
with August 2009.
• In August 2010 the total GB raw material usage in the retail production of animal feed was
up 11% compared with August 2009.
• In August 2010 the total GB integrated feed production was up 4.2% compared with
August 2009.
• For the period April to June 2010 quarterly average prices of animal feedingstuffs
were the following:
Cattle and calf feed - £178 per Tonne
Pig feed - £214 per Tonne
Poultry feed - £216 per Tonne
Sheep feed - £174 per Tonne
