It will be a permanent advisory body subordinated to the Minister, as one of its tasks will be to identify current policy directions in agriculture in line with the Government Program as well as to discuss and propose strategies and operational activities in accordance with the reformed CAP in connection with with the higher profitability and competitiveness of the sector.
The first Council meeting was held in the Big Collegiums of MAF . There were identified and defined the future tasks and goals by the end of 2010.
