As a global leader in food ingredients, enzymes and bio-based solutions, Danisco A/S has released its 9th annual sustainability report. It is the beginning of a significant transformation of our sustainability strategy setting ambitious strategies for the future.

The report entitled Ingredients for Sustainability describes our commitments to enabling solutions addressing the global sustainability challenges we face. It has achieved an A+ Global Reporting Initiative application level and has been independently verified by Deloitte.

Danisco will continue its focus on how global sustainability challenges can be transformed into viable business opportunities. By collaboratively applying our knowledge, innovation capabilities and core technologies to devise the best solutions, Danisco adds value for our stakeholders, customers and consumers.

The report also details performance against Danisco’s 2007 targets, summarising global initiatives in the people, planet and profit dimensions of our entire sphere of influence. New strategies have been developed to drive performance in sustainable sourcing, operational efficiency, social responsibility and sustainable innovation and product offerings.
