Vietnam - Blue ear disease boosts pork imports

The Department of Animal Health reported that meat imports into Vietnam from January to April soared 20% to 50,000 tonnes and 95% of this was frozen pork. The majority of imports came from Denmark (85%) followed by Hong Kong (13%) and others including the US, Thailand, China and Japan.
