China initiates 3rd round of pork reserves

31-May-2010 (16 years 9 days ago)The Ministry of Commerce, together with the Ministry of Finance, National Development and Reform Commission and Agricultural Development Bank recently launched a new round of pork reserves, aimed at stabilizing domestic pork prices and securing the interests of pig farmers.
The main source of frozen pork will be in 12 provinces, including Jilin, Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Anhui,Sichuan and Fujian.
