Denmark - Prognosis shows increase in Danish exports of piglets

A forecast from the Association of Danish Pig Producers shows that in 2015 exports of piglets will be 13.5 m. or as much as 65 % higher than in 2009.
Already next year the export will increase especially to Germany and reach up to 9.9 m. (+ 20 %). The explanation is simple: The big Danish slaughterhouses’ settling price is not competitive.
