Vietnam - Plunge in pork prices predicted to put more pressure on producers

Vissan Co last Thursday cut pork prices by VND2,000 per kilograme over last week, and frozen meat prices by 5 per cent. San Miguel Co also cut prices by VND2,000 a kg.
The prices of best-selling pork products at supermarkets such as Citimart, Coopfood and Maximark have been reduced by 10-15 per cent.
