Surveys by the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) show that Brazilian pork shipments totaled 1.51 million tons in 2025 (a historic record for exports in the sector), a volume 11.6% higher than in 2024 (1.35 million tons). With this, Brazil is expected to surpass Canada and become the world's third-largest pork exporter.

The annual result was positively influenced by strong performance in December, with shipments of 137,800 tons (t) of pork, a volume 25.8% higher than in December 2024, when shipments totaled 109,500 t.

In terms of revenue, Brazilian pork exports totaled USD 3.619 billion in 2025, up 19.3% from USD 3.033 billion in 2024. In December alone, revenues totaled USD 324.5 million, an increase of 25.6% compared to the same period last year (USD 258.4 million).

The Philippines, the main destination for Brazilian pork in 2025, imported 392,900 tons, an increase of 54.5% compared to 2024. It was followed by China, with 159,200 tons (-33.9%), Chile, with 118,600 tons (+4.9%), Japan, with 114,400 tons (+22.4%), and Hong Kong, with 110,900 tons (+3.7%).
